Hi,
My name is Rachel and I am very excited to be bringing LullaBaby classes to Nottingham East.
I have been teaching as a primary school teacher, and prior to this an instrumental teacher, for the past 8 years. I love teaching and watching children’s excitement when they try something new.
Whilst on maternity leave, I started to attend baby classes. I looked forward to seeing what new activities we would do each week and how I could recreate these activities at home for my little boy, Charlie. It reminded me why I loved teaching, seeing his little face light up in fascination each week at the lights, colours and songs. I started to wonder if running baby classes was something I could do and have the work/life balance I wanted for my family, and that’s when I found LullaBaby.
I started attending LullaBaby step 1 classes with Charlie when he was 12 weeks old, and he loved the different activities. The classes were always welcoming and friendly, making me feel at ease to feed or change Charlie whenever needed. The smaller class sizes of step 1 made it easier to get to know everyone and catch up on how our weeks had been. It was great to be able to share with others who were experiencing similar things and being reminded I wasn’t alone! Each week is filled with new and different activities, keeping Charlie engaged and excited. His favourite is always the lights!
I am so pleased I have found an opportunity that will allow me to use my existing skills and knowledge as a teacher to help your baby’s development. I am looking forward to meeting you and your little ones at my classes.
