Hello my name is Anita and I live in Surrey. I’m the owner of LullaBaby in the Aldershot, Farnham and Farnborough area and a busy mummy to my son Hugo and daughter Darcey. My family means everything to me.
Whilst on maternity leave in 2017 with Hugo we went to various baby classes and found the variety of activities such as baby massage, music and sensory play so much fun. To be able to watch your child reach milestones, develop, grow and explore the world around them in the classes is wonderful. Being able to talk with other like-minded mums in class, make lifelong friends and share advice/experiences really helped me as a first time mum.
Then whilst on maternity leave with Darcey in 2019 I realised my priorities had changed. I knew I needed to make changes in my working life in order to achieve a happy family/work life balance. Having a baby made me think about what is important in life - my family! I no longer wanted to work long hours placing my children in childcare 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I wanted a career change doing something I loved and was passionate about, which was working with babies and toddlers and to offer a support network to both Mums and Dads, which is so vitally important when you have just had a baby. So I decided to be my own boss, working the hours I wanted whilst raising my children.
I then found LullaBaby, so I made the difficult decision to resign from my job in finance of 17 years and pursue a new career in baby and toddler development classes. LullaBaby is the next chapter in my life as a self-employed working mum and as a role model for my children.
I am also a qualified infant massage instructor, having trained with IAIM who are the world class gold standard for the training and teaching of baby massage. The first few years are so important in a child’s life and how they are nurtured will have a massive impact on how babies develop into adult life.
So please come and join me in my classes, I cannot wait to welcome you along. More importantly for you to have fun and spend quality one to one time with your little one. It’s a great way for children to learn the world around them through activities such massage, yoga, sensory, music, relaxation and baby sign language.
